Consider this fact…….

Death was proof that Jesus was human.

Resurrection was proof that He IS God!

 God is so good.

In His hands is a power that is able to change our lives. And by raising Jesus from death, He has given us all new life and a hope that lives on.

The hymn writer took that thought a step further and said:

I serve a risen Savior, He's in the world today

I know that He is living, whatever men may say

I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer

And just the time I need Him He's always near

He lives! I know He lives!

 Throughout the vicissitudes of life's ever changing variables—every struggle, every trial, every failure, every test—God is with us through it all!  And not only is He with us, but He knows all about whatever we encounter.  Because of this we can take comfort in the words of Jeremiah 29:11 which emphatically declares:

 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end."

 God’s power, His Resurrection power, is the power that can cancel our past to include all of our failures, mistakes, sins and regrets, as none of these define who we are.  God’s power, His Resurrection power, is the power that can raise us out of depression and defeat! That same dunamis power has the ability to open otherwise closed doors and give rise to our ability to press our way through, come what may!

 The fact remains, life can be overwhelming—pandemics, sickness, loss, etc.—but the truth is, God is still good! Faith is not a denial of the facts.  It is the acceptance of the truth over the facts and it is the truth you know that will make you free.  

Right now is a difficult time considering the current state of affair; but, God still  provides.  Times are hard; but, God is yet faithful!

 In my own life’s experience, there was a time when I said I can't go on.  But God said, I will carry you! I said that I am too tired.  But, God said, I will give you rest! I said this is impossible. But God said, all things are possible! I said I am going to die! But God said…… I will raise you up! You see, a clean slate is possible through the power of God!

I Corinthians 6:14 reminds us: "And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power."

 God's power is unfailing! God's power is unchanging! God's power is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all that we could ever ask or think!

 His Resurrection power guarantees us many things! Most assuredly that He would never lift us up to let us down!

 God is so good!
